When I began to write the story of my father's life I thought it would be easy. I had access to his old business records, copies of letters, press clippings, all the material I needed. This was a thoroughly enjoyable read. I couldn't put the book down, always wanting to know what would happen next. I especially liked that there were three perspectives throughout the story but they all intermingled to a climatic end. I recommend this story for anyone who enjoys factual history brought into a dramatic story of how one man's decision can effect so many lives.Product details

Good service and great book!
Interesting weaving the Irish Republic and the RUC into the story.
Item arrived on time, listed as 'good'. Pretty ragged looking to me; spine has 2 top to bottom cracks, cover & underlay bent as well as early pages of book. Ambivalent, let buyer take my honest eval in & decide whether this vendor is more interested in moving inventory vs providing accurate assessments of quality of goods.

I found the Killing Anniversary a riveting tale, well composed and obviously well researched. The characters are well developed and the plot line well put together, although a bit predictable towards the end. My only concern was the very abbreviated ending. Well worth reading.
